Wolverine Mutton Chops

A comic book style edit for Phillips to showcase their OneBlade
through the Wolverine mutton chops.

I worked closely with Sandesh Kadur to build a comprehensive showreel for
Felis Films, drawing from over fifteen years of documentary work.

I built this film around my favourite beard style, the iconic Wolverine mutton chops, and my memories attached to it.

In college, I cosplayed as Wolverine, and my then-girlfriend—now my wife—helped me build the costume’s claws by hand. I leaned into the nostalgia of recreating that look years later.

Visually, I leaned heavily into Marvel-inspired comic book aesthetics, using stylised typography, animated panels, halftone textures, and graphic transitions to make the entire film feel like a living comic book rather than a conventional advertisement.
