My Role
Media Manager • On-site Editor
I was the media manager and on-site editor for the India episode, across two shooting rounds spanning a month on the ground.
My primary responsibility was managing the entire media pipeline on location. Ingesting footage, maintaining organised backups with checksum verification, and ensuring every file was securely archived and ready for post-production.
I worked closely with director Matthew Akers during the shoot. After each day of filming, I cut a rough assembly of what was filmed, so he could see how the sequences were taking shape and plan the next day accordingly.
Behind the scenes
I also documented behind-the-scenes moments through production stills, supporting both the filmmaking process and the production’s visual archive.
